TIP #98: Rotate Clip Art in Word 2003
If you don’t like the direction in which a MS Word clip art image is facing, you can easily rotate it to suit your needs.
1. In your document containing the clip art, click to select the image. Square selection handles will appear on the image corners.
2. Go to the View menu – Toolbars, and select the Picture toolbar.
3. On the Picture toolbar, click on the Rotate Left 90 button (looks like two triangles with an arrow above.)
4. You can rotate the clip any way you want by either clicking on the Rotate Left 90 tool, or by pressing and dragging on the green rotation handle to manually and precisely rotate it.
